My undoing, the veggie pita! So delicious looking! It includes a wheat pita pocket, a lettuce leaf,  two tomatoes, one cheese slice and three cucumbers.  Adorable! This product is made of a wool felt blend and is hand washable. The pita measures approximately 7 inches and is perfect for healthy eating role play!

Lilly Bean was started by Hilary Seabolt in 2004, when her 4 year old son asked what his new stuffed animals were supposed to eat. Feeling quite creative, Hilary whipped up a cute little egg and pancake. Soon after came donuts, bacon, fruits veggies, and thus a passion was born.

Now she works with a small group of Amish women and a wonderful machine seamstress that help her make all of the Lilly Bean play food. Hilary is committed to keeping the business in the US and loves knowing the people who help create such a beautiful product.

I really love Lillybean, and know that your child will have hours of fun playing with these replica versions of every day feasts and treats! Honestly, the veggie pita makes me hungry every time I look at it, and I find myself eating lunch earlier and earlier.
