I think it is pretty clear that I have some major love for owls, especially over the years I have been open, and all the owl centered products I have featured in my store.

So it was pretty much a given that I was going to fall in love with these whimsical owl creations and their awesomely chosen fabric outfits.

Dimensions: 13" tall, 6" wide and 3" fat

All plush is made with wool felt and cotton fabrics- stuffed with fine polyfil. Plush is additionally lined with cotton for extra durability and heirloom quality.

I actually got to know Kristin thanks to twitter and our love of Garrison Keillor. I had been spying on her owls for quite sometime, and really loved them, but hadn’t actually contacted her about them. And then she contacted me, and the rest is owl history.

She is one cool mama and shares my same story of starting a children focused business before even having children. We both just equally appreciate children, and are pretty cool about being considered a bit odd.

Kristin is a trained painter/artist that holds an MFA in Fine Art from, The School of Visual Arts in NYC. Kristin’s artistic background allows her to approach her products with a painter’s eye- being concerned with color, texture, and form.

Through her observations of people, she then creates fictional characters that she writes stories about. Her children’s collection comes from her love of humor, curiosity, and an appreciation of a child’s creative spirit.
