I adore Livie and Luca’s unique brand of shoe. They have such an european feel about them, and I just love the design and cute little animal faces that are on some of the shoes! Another company that I wish made shoes in my size!

As new mothers, Livie and Luca’s creators discovered that there was a need for modern and funky shoes for babies and toddlers that were also lightweight, soft, super flexible and affordable. The more they spoke with other moms like themselves, the more they realized they weren’t alone in their search. They soon came to the realization that the only way to find these shoes was to create their own company and fill the niche themselves. So while their children slept and between feedings and diaper changes they began a year of research that included many sleepless nights, lots of support from their husbands and plenty of inspiration from the adventurous lives they share with their children. Finally, in May 2005 Livie & Luca was launched!
Livie & Luca baby and toddler shoe creations incorporate brightly colored leathers, bold designs and whimsical modern touches that capture the playful essence of childhood. Their comfortable shoe construction allows beginning walkers, toddlers and preschoolers to navigate playgrounds, city streets and dirt pathways with style and ease.
They want people to remember that their baby and toddler shoes are made by hand. In this spirit, they have asked their shoe makers to leave their markings which can be found under the strap. Because they are handmade, every pair of shoes will be a little different. Each pair of shoes is as unique as the child who wears them.
Livie & Luca consciously donates a larger than average portion of their profits to different charities. Each month, 10% of the profits from their online sales go to a unique charity and 10% or more of their profits go to charities at special fundraising events throughout the year.
