Kata Golda
In 1999, inspired by the color and texture of plant dyed wool felt, Kata Golda started making toys for her baby girl. As she grew and began to draw Kata made her, her first sketch book, decorated with a handstitched felt teddy bear, and adorned with her daughter’s name. It was to become the forerunner of what is today the Kata Golda collection.
Kata Golda continues to be inspired by color and texture and by her daughter’s drawings and sense of placement. Kata Golda has grown into a flourishing business and creative space while allowing me to stay true to what I love to do.
