Memorial Day is here which means goodbye wool, hello breezy, beautiful linen. Even when it comes to your kids' playthings.
Have you ever loved a doll so much that you wanted to hug it? Wait, that's ridiculous, even for a rhetorical question. Of course you want to hug dolls. But have you ever loved a doll so much that you didn't want to hug it, so that it would last forever and ever?
That's how I feel about these linen dolls by Leilalou just into CMP fave, The Pajama Squid. Especially the Little Prince. Each vintage-inspired doll is hand-stitched in France onto 100% Irish Linen and backed with a natural linen/cotton mix. In stripes. Cute stripes.
Is this the right doll for your one year-old to drag to bed every night and slobber on? Maybe, maybe not. Is it the doll that your great-grandchildren will pull out of a cedar-lined trunk and argue whether or not you made it yourself? Maybe yes, until they see the tag and wonder who Leilalou is.

We all know Alice in Wonderland is crazy hip right now, but let’s be honest – not all Alicey-items are swoon-worthy. This one, however? Is.
The collection of Alice in Wonderland themed tees at Pajama Squid come to you from Australia’s Heavenly Creatures. Each super soft, super stripey cap-sleeved or classic kids’ t-shirt has a cotton patch featuring a different classic illustration. The white rabbit on that navy-and-white striped classic tee would be adorable on little boys too.
The combination of simple pen-and-ink artwork on the bold stripes is a pretty delish retro-modern/one-of-a-kind-looking combo. I really wish they made these Alice t-shirts in grown-up sizes, because I would be wearing mine daily and insisting horizontal red lines were slimming.

The Little Experience offers just a great selection of mini craft kits at unbelievable prices and you’ll find a ton of options from the The Pajama Squid. There’s everything from felt finger puppet kits and small wooden rockets and pirate ships that little kids can assemble and paint, to DIY stuffed animals for older ones. None cost more than $19, and most are much less.
